The Commission has five members and meets on an on-call basis. |

| The Historic Preservation Commission is charged with establishing a local historic preservation program, integrating historic preservation into local, state and federal planning and decision-making processes and identifying, evaluating and protecting historic resources in Enid. |

The Board assists in disseminating news and information regarding the selection, planting, establishment and maintenance of trees and to advise City Council on desirable legislation concerning the tree program. |
