The City of Enid Department of Emergency Management is responsible for the protection and safety of our citizens. This is accomplished through a coordinated effort to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters. Our ongoing mission is to mitigate future emergencies and disasters.
The Emergency Management center is located at the Enid Fire Dept. Station 1.
The center is used to centralize the coordination of all emergency service and public works operations that would be utilized in the event we have a disaster or event that would warrant activation.
We register Enid and Garfield County storm shelters with Garfield County Emergency Management.
