Since May of 2009, Andrea L. Springer has been the City Attorney for the City of Enid.
The City Attorney is appointed by the Mayor and Board of Commissioners and is the legal advisor to the Mayor and Board of Commissioners, City Manager, and all departments, boards, commissions, and authorities of the City. The City Attorney renders opinions, on request; is responsible for drafting ordinances, resolutions, contracts, deeds, affidavits, bonds, leases, and other legal papers; represents the City as counsel in civil cases and during contract negotiations, and prosecutes on behalf of the City.
