Article - "By the time you read this, the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center should be a reality. The result of a five-year, $8 million effort, the center more than doubles the size and capabilities of its predecessor, and features additional exhibit and research space. It preserves the only remaining 1893 Oklahoma Land Rush office as well as an early 1900s church and school, and a refurbished Victorian home. The heritage center promises to be a landmark in northwestern Oklahoma."
