Press Information Officer

The Press Information Officer (PIO) performs duties as the Enid Police Department Spokesperson concerning official releases of information on matters pertaining to investigations, ongoing events, police actions, and open records act requests. The Press Information Officer acts as a liaison between the media, community and the Enid Police Department to ensure accurate and essential information is provided for public access as required by law and to facilitate informing the community on matters of crime trends, community policing issues and educational and safety programs.
