Watch Law Enforcement Teams Compete to see Who's Champion!
The Monster Mash is a fundraiser being hosted by the Defenders Association and will be held at the end of a competitive race being held as a Law Enforcement training event. The Monster Mash will benefit the Fisher House and the Defender’s Association.
The Fisher House Foundation provides free or low cost lodging to veterans and military families receiving treatment at military medical centers.
The Defenders Association (DA) cares for 100 deployed or homes station Security Forces members and their families. The DA is active in the local community through the Adopt a School Program, Mc Gruff the Crime Dog appearances, K-9 demonstrations, the Enid Senior Center, Taft Elementary test monitors, Camp Tomahawk and the Special Olympics.
The fundraiser will be held on Saturday May 5th starting at 11:00 p.m. in Meadow Lake Park. The Monster Mash will be an all-day event. Local law enforcement and civil service agencies will be setting up booths to demonstrate their capabilities and missions. There will be bomb squad and working dog demonstrations as well as the opportunity to talk to local law enforcement while viewing their equipment.
Everyone is invited to attend and participate in the park activities. At the park will be food, drinks, and goods for sale from our local sponsors. We will have fun available for the entire family including face painting, balloons, McGruff the crime dog and other fun activities.
