Cheryl is a lifelong resident of Northwest Oklahoma and has resided in Enid for the last 40 years. Cheryl and husband, Wade have been married 35 years. Their two children, Kayci and Kyler, are graduates of Enid High School. Cheryl and Wade served as church youth leaders for over 23 years. They are owners/operators of Patterson Mowing and Patterson Consulting.
Cheryl graduated with a bachelor‘s degree in Elementary Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Enid Public School Board, Enid Public School Foundation, Human Services Alliance, and the Foster Grandparents Board.
Cheryl was appointed to serve as secretary of the Garfield county Election Board by Senator Patrick Anderson and reappointed by Senator Roland Peterson.
Cheryl served as the Director of the Child Development Center at Vance Air Force Base for 10 years.
Cheryl was a contract instructor for Autry technology center for 33 years.
Cheryl was recently appointed to serve on the Public Arts Commission of Enid (PACE); Human Services Alliance; and the 911 Board of Enid, Garfield and Major Counties.
