Details: The Enid Public Library announced the "Youth Design a Library Card Contest." This initiative aims to engage the creative minds of Enid and Garfield County youth and allow them to leave a lasting mark on their community.
"I am extremely excited to see what the youth of our area come up with for library cards," said Theri Ray, Director of the Enid Public Library. "We are reintroducing different card type options for young library users, and I cannot think of a more exciting way to do that than to have area youth design the card faces."
Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and how well the design captures the Create, Learn, Grow theme. There will be a design chosen by an artist in two categories:
• 5th grade or younger
• middle or high school category
The contest is now open for submissions and will close on April 9th. Entry forms and submission guidelines are on the Library's website and at the circulation desk.
