rue21 – 1,000th Store to Open in Enid

ENID, OK (November 12, 2013) – Fashion retailer rue21’s leadership has provided City of Enid officials with the date of November 14th to celebrate the opening of a new store. Officials from rue21 are extremely excited about this new store opening because Enid will be the location for the 1,000th store. Kelly Evanovich, Marketing Manager for rue 21 said, “the word “rue” comes from the French word for “street” while “21” embodies the age that everyone wants to be! Inspired by the spirit and style of one of the best times in life, our store is designed for those looking for fashion that’s modern, trendy and affordable.”

According to City of Enid’s Director of Public Relations and Marketing Steve Kime, “the retailer will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony to complement their grand opening event. The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 14th as one of three new stores that will be located inside the former Homeland building on west Garriott.” Kime added, “at least seven Senior Leadership officials from rue21 will be in attendance for the grand-opening.”

Headquartered just north of Pittsburgh, PA, rue21 has stores in 47 states, not only in shopping malls, but also in outlet and strip centers.

The public is invited to the Thursday grand- opening event!
