On Tuesday, April 23, 2019, The City of Enid hosted a Reception honoring Mayor Bill Shewey, Ward 1 Commissioner Ron Janzen and Ward 5 Commissioner Tammy Wilson as their terms come to an end on the City Council.
The new council members will be sworn in on Monday, May 6, 2019. Current Ward 6 Commissioner George Pankonin is Mayor-Elect, Jerry Allen is Ward 1 Commissioner Elect, and Rob Stallings is Ward 5 Commissioner-Elect. The Ward 6 commissioner will be appointed.
The outgoing mayor and the outgoing commissioners said a few words during the reception. Thank you all for your service to the Enid community!
