All licenses are issued by and paid for in the office of the City Clerk, 401 West Owen K. Garriott Road, Enid, OK 73701. The following applications are available and may be downloaded for your use:
ALARM PERMIT Initial Fee: $10.00 Renewal Fee: $10.00 Expiration Date: Annually on December 31.
AMBULANCE COMPANY Initial Fee: $250.00 Renewal Fee: $250.00 Expiration Date: Annually on June 30. Other: Liability insurance required by ordinance. AMBULANCE DRIVER Initial Fee: $25.00 Renewal Fee: $25.00 Expiration Date: Annually on June 30. Other: Background investigation required. ARBORIST (TREE TRIMMER) Initial Fee: $20.00 Renewal Fee: $20.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Must obtain a grade of at least seventy-five percent (75%) on an examination administered by the Code Department to determine knowledge and experience to engage in the business as an arborist; Bond and/or liability insurance required by ordinance.
CHILD CARE Initial Fee: $35.00 Renewal Fee: $35.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Must provide proof of State license and current Health Department inspection.
DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR Initial Fee: $300.00 Renewal Fee: $50.00 Expiration Date: Annually on June 30. Other: Cash or surety bond is required by ordinance.
DRIVE-IN RESTAURANT Initial Fee: $75.00 Renewal Fee: $75.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Must provide proof of current Health Department inspection and Oklahoma sales tax permit. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR (Active) Initial Fee: $300.00 Renewal Fee: $100.00 Expiration Date: Annually on July 31. Other: Must provide proof of State license. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR (Inactive) Initial Fee: $25.00 Renewal Fee: $25.00 Expiration Date: Annually on July 31. Other: Must provide proof of State license. FIRE EXTINGUISHER REPAIRMAN Initial Fee: $20.00 Renewal Fee: $20.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. LIMOUSINE COMPANY Initial Fee: $100.00 Renewal Fee: $100.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Bond or liability insurance required by ordinance. LIMOUSINE DRIVER Initial Fee: $25.00 Renewal Fee: $25.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Background investigation required. MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR (Active) Initial Fee: $300.00 Renewal Fee: $100.00 Expiration Date: Annually on July 31. Other: Must provide proof of State license. MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR (Inactive) Initial Fee: $25.00 Renewal Fee: $25.00 Expiration Date: Annually on July 31. Other: Must provide proof of State license. MOBILE HOME PARK Initial Fee: $50.00 plus $2.50 for each space over twenty (20) spaces Renewal Fee: $50.00 plus $2.50 for each space over twenty (20) spaces Expiration Date: Annually on June 30.
MOBILE FOOD VENDOR Single Event Fee: $10.00 Six Month Fee: $50.00 Annual Fee: $75.00 Other: Must provide proof of current Health Department inspection and Oklahoma sales tax permit. Requires investigation of the applicant's business and moral character.
NURSING HOME Initial Fee: $75.00 Renewal Fee: $75.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Must provide proof of current Health Department inspection. OIL AND/OR GAS PERMITS Initial Fee $100.00 Renewal Fee $100.00 Expires Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Cash Bond or Letter of Credit and liability insurance required by ordinance. OUTDOOR CAFÉ Initial Fee: $300.00 Renewal Fee: $50.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Must provide proof of current Health Department inspection and Oklahoma sales tax permit. PAWNBROKER Initial Fee: $50.00 Renewal Fee: $50.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. PLUMBING CONTRACTOR (Active) Initial Fee: $300.00 Renewal Fee: $100.00 Expiration Date: Annually on July 31. Other: Must provide proof of State license. PLUMBING CONTRACTOR (Inactive) Initial Fee: $25.00 Renewal Fee: $25.00 Expiration Date: Annually on July 31. Other: Must provide proof of State license. RESTAURANT Initial Fee: $75.00 Renewal Fee: $75.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Must provide proof of current Health Department inspection and Oklahoma sales tax permit.
ROOFING CONTRACTOR Initial Fee: $10.00 Renewal Fee: $10.00 Expiration Date: Annually on June 30. Other: Must provide proof of State license.
SALVAGE YARD Initial Fee: $100.00 Renewal Fee: $100.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. SECONDHAND DEALERS Initial Fee: $20.00 Renewal Fee: $20.00 Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance. SIGN CONTRACTORS Initial Fee: $300.00 Renewal Fee: $75.00 Expiration Date: Annually on June 30. Other: Cash or surety bond as required by ordinance. SOLICITORS Initial Fee: $5.00 per day OR $25.00 per month Renewal Fee: $5.00 per day OR $25.00 per month Expiration Date: Monthly renewal based on initial date of issuance. Other: Photo ID and Oklahoma Sales Tax Permit required. Investigation of the applicant’s business and moral character will be conducted. Both the company represented and the solicitor must be licensed. TAXICAB COMPANY Initial Fee: $70.00 plus $30.00 for each public conveyance vehicle operated by the licensee Renewal Fee: $70.00 plus $30.00 for each public conveyance vehicle operated by the licensee Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance.
