Kyle Williams, currently serves as President of Jiffy Trip convenience stores and has served in that capacity since 2003. He has been dedicated to the service industry and entrepreneurial spirit since he began his career at the age of 21, in the men’s clothing profession where he purchased his first business which closed just two years later. Williams attributes his drive, determination and current successes to the pain of not succeeding as a first-time entrepreneur.
Williams purchased his first convenience store in 1983, which began his 38 year career in the c-store industry. Shortly after in 1986, Kyle and his wife, Carol, moved to Enid, Oklahoma where they started their family and have made Northwest Oklahoma their home.
In addition to his years of dedicated service to the C-Store industry, Williams and a small group purchased KOFM and KGWA radio stations in 1994 which have since flourished. The acquisition placed the radio stations on the Media Map with top personalities, country music favorites and even brought Enid’s first large-size digital billboard to their broadcasting properties.
In 2004, Kyle along with Dana LaMunyon founded LaMunyon Drilling, an oil and gas drilling operator. Over the next 7 years, LaMunyon Drilling built 5 drilling rigs while working for oil and gas leaders such as Chesapeake, Range Resources, Sandridge, Linn Energy and other premier oil and gas companies in America. In 2013, Kyle along with his brother, Dr. Scott Williams, founded Xpress Wellness Urgent Care and opened their first clinic in Enid, a year later in 2014. Xpress Wellness Urgent Care has grown to be the largest Urgent Care corporation in Oklahoma and Kansas, with locations now open in Texas. There are currently 32 Xpress Wellness Urgent Care clinics operating.
In 2017, a decision was made to expand out of rural Oklahoma to larger markets with "experiential" Jiffy Trip stores. Today, Jiffy Trip operates 26 stores throughout Oklahoma with growth opportunities slated for Arkansas over the next decade. Jiffy Trip will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2022.
Kyle’s commitment to bettering his community and the communities Jiffy Trip serves in, comes from his father, the late K.V. Williams, whom he was honored to work with for decades; assisted his drive and accredited his serial entrepreneur spirit to he and his father’s DNA.
Williams has served on the St. Mary’s board of Governors, is past board member and President of Hope Outreach. He currently serves on the Enid Regional Development Association board. Kyle and his son, Alex, Co-Chaired the 2020 United Way of Enid & Northwest Oklahoma Annual Fundraiser. Williams sits on the board of several faith-based organizations both here in Enid and internationally. Kyle and his wife Carol are members and active at Emmanuel Enid. The Williams’ have been married for 37 years.
