Fleet Management oversees the preventative maintenance program and is responsible for providing general repairs to all City of Enid vehicles and equipment. The preventative maintenance program includes replacement services of essential fluids, filters, tire replacement and/or repairs which are based on usage. The preventative maintenance services are predominantly performed by the Service Station Attendant.
General repairs consist of transmission replacements, air conditioning repairs, brake repair and replacement, electrical repairs, hydraulic repairs and any additional repairs. Throughout the fiscal year of 2012, the Fleet Management Department performed and completed 2,486 preventative and general repairs (Public Works Annual Report, 2012).
