Tattoos are permitted under the following conditions: Offensive or obscene tattoos are prohibited. Tattoos on the head, face, or neck are prohibited. Tattoos on the hands below the wrist are prohibited, with the exception of one ring style tattoo on each hand that does not exceed 3/8" in width between the knuckle and the next finger joint.
A non-certified Police Officer's starting base salary is $54,078.34 and will top out in-grade in just 6 years at $72,470.12, plus many additional monetary incentives. Officers are eligible to test for promotion to Sergeant after 4 years.
